At the beginning of each new school year a new registration form is required for all of our students, even if they have studied with us before. An annual registration fee of $25.00 is due at the time of registration.
Billing - Music is billed by the Session. You will receive a bill for the Winter, Spring and Summer Sessions the first week of each session, showing any credits due from missed lessons from the previous session. Payment is due when the bill is received.
A 5% late charge will be added to any balance remaining after the second week of each session. You may arrange with the office to have your payment automatically billed to your credit card.
Sessions - Music Session dates for the year are:
- Fall: August 27 - November 17, 2007
- Winter: November 19, 2007 – February 23, 2008
- Spring: February 25 – May 24, 2008
- Summer: May 26 – July 25, 2008
Music Recitals - During the year the private music students have the opportunity to perform on numerous music recitals. Your child's teacher will notify you and your child when they are ready for their first recital. An annual recital fee of $40.00 is due at the time of registration.
We encourage you to support your child's musical education by participating in our recitals. Practice - for performance- makes even more "perfect", and the self-esteem and self-discipline gained have a great value for your child's development. Some tips for a successful recital experience (besides practice):
- Come comfortably early (15-20 minutes).
- Have your performer dress up so he/she knows it's a special activity.
- Stay for the whole recital - performers will sit in the front row to listen (and applaud) one another.
- Plan time for a celebratory treat afterwards.
- Watch the School Newsletters for upcoming Recital dates!
